Denison, Texas -- Downtown Denison's annual free summer concert series, Music on Main, kicks off its 2026 season on Friday, June 12 with an evening of Texas blues featuring Sue Foley. Local favorite Oliver White opens the show at 7:30 p.m.
A five-time Blues Music Award winner, a recipient of Canada’s Juno Award and a Grammy Award nominee, Foley actually grew up in Canada, but Austin, Texas club owner Clifford Antone brought her to Texas in 1989 where she quickly developed a following.

Foley is probably best known for her award-winning 2018 album The Ice Queen, featuring Billy Gibbons and Jimmie Vaughan, but One Guitar Woman, her solo acoustic tribute to the female pioneers of guitar was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.
Foley also garnered her fifth consecutive Koko Taylor Award at the 2025 Blues Music Awards ceremony.
Up next at Denison's Music on Main will be Big Joe Walker on June 19.
