Bonham, Texas -- Nancy Rochelle Hewitt, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, in Bonham, Texas, at the age of 75.

Born on June 17, 1950, the daughter of Edgar White Jr. and Ida Rushing White. Nancy was a kind, compassionate woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, whether through her generous spirit, her bright smile, or her unwavering love for family and friends. In her free time, Nancy found joy in crafting, caring for animals, treasure hunting at garage sales and thrift stores, and singing karaoke.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edgar White Jr. and Ida Louise White, and brother Edgar White.

Nancy is survived by her loving family: sons, Jason Hewitt and wife Laura, Jeffery Hewitt and wife Melissa; cherished grandchildren, Justin Hewitt, Jacy Hewitt, Kaileigh Hewitt, Kristopher Cloudt, Jeannie Hewitt, Kaitlyn Carwardine, Joshua Carwardine, and Catrine Carwardine, as well as her great-granddaughters, Salem Cloudt and Gracelyn Chitwood due in May. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Gary White, and sister-in-law, Lori White.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate the life of Nancy at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Jeremy Ballard will officiate. Burial will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
