Carole Aliece Davis, also known as sister to her family, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 18, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Bill and Mildred Graves. Arrangements are under the loving care of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Carole's passions painted the portrait of a life rich in love and hobbies. An avid fisherwoman, she often regaled her family and friends with tales of "the one that got away." Carole's skills as a master seamstress were evident in the beautiful clothes she lovingly made for her children and the whimsical Halloween costumes that delighted her grandchildren, from cow outfits to Power Ranger costumes. When her daughter Melinda was expecting she sewed her entire maternity wardrobe.

Her green thumb brought life to her plants, while her love for the great outdoors was reflected in her enjoyment of road trips and camping adventures. Carole's devotion to her family was unwavering, and the family has a treasure trove of memories tucked away in their hearts.

Known affectionately as "Granny," Carole was a master at games like Skip-Bo and Phase 10, always ready for a friendly challenge. Her favorite memory was riding the back roads of Telephone in the "Struggle Buggy," car seats filled the back with all the grandchildren and down the road they went!

Carole enjoyed visiting cemeteries and admiring the beautiful headstones. She also spent many Sunday's singing in the church choir, her voice as beautiful as her heart. She always loved to sing old time gospel hymns.

She was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Bobbie Davis, parents, Mildred V. and Bill Graves, sisters, Gracie Anderson, Betty Capps, Ruth Hall, and brother, Wallace Graves. Those left to cherish her memory, brother, Harold Graves and wife Ona, sister, Teresa Wright and husband Cliff, children, Gregg Allen and wife Tammy, Scott Allen, Melody Burk, Melinda Allen, grandchildren, Ashlea Allen, Heather Allen, Jeremy Murphey and wife Mica, April Vincik and husband Justin, Hayden Murphey, Kashandra Henson and husband Aaron, great-grandchildren, Elaiyna, Colten, Gavin, Waverly, Jace, Aurora, Wade, Adeline, and numerous nieces and nephews.
