No Kings Coalition announces immediate efforts and builds towards next national mass mobilization on March 28; thousands of actions planned nationwide

The Grayson County Courthouse is located at 110 W. Houston Street, Sherman TX 75090.
Nan Campbell says, “Take a look at your wallet. Struggling to feed your family? How much did it cost to fill up your gas tank? Can you afford to see a doctor or buy your prescription meds? It’s no accident - They’ve gone too far: This is bigger than political disagreement. This administration has ignored our constitution, defied our courts, deported American citizens, slashed healthcare and other essential services for American citizens and started an unjustified war—all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their billionaire allies. Enough is enough. For anyone who thinks they’ve gone too far, this
movement is for you.”
“When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust rule driven by one man’s desire for wealth, revenge and unlimited power. America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us - the people who built America.”
Theresa Pegues shared, “I have been speaking with many people across Grayson County, and frustration is growing with the priorities and ruthless tactics of the current administration. No Kings will be a peaceful opportunity for members of this ever-growing community to let their voices be heard. We the People are ready to move forward.”
"Our community is intentionally collaborating to push back against President Trump’s authoritarian actions using our hard-earned tax dollars for personal gain and pride. He wants to be the King of America - and the world," said Debra Rushing. “We’re bringing together local residents from all walks of life who share a simple message: We don’t do dictators or kings in America.”
No Kings is a mass, nonviolent movement that has already mobilized millions — from over five million participants on June 14, 2025 to over 7 million people
joining 3,000+ events across all 50 states and the District of Columbia on October 18, 2025 — and it is growing as communities unite to reject authoritarian power grabs and defend dignity and freedom.
We’re excited to join with other groups organizing the No Kings nonviolent protests across the country including ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, SEIU, among others.
