Bonham, Texas -- With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tamara Denise "Tami" Dupree, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on April 7, 2026, at the age of 63, at TMC in Denison, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Tami was born on March 1, 1963, in Ragley, Louisiana, to Jerry Cowart and Sandra "Sandi" Wagnon. She grew up surrounded by love and carried that spirit with her throughout her life.
On August 27, 1981, she married her high school sweetheart, Greg Dupree, beginning a lifelong journey filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family and cherished memories.
Tami dedicated 32 years of her life to nursing a profession that reflected her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to caring for others. She touched countless lives through her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit.
She had a passion for travel and adventure, especially enjoying cruises, motorcycle rides, and camping in their RV. No matter where she went, her greatest joy was always found in the time she spent with her family. She treasured every moment with her loved ones, creating memories that will live on for generations.

Tami was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Cowart and Sandra "Sandi" Cowart.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Greg Dupree; her daughters, Alaina Johnson and her husband, and Becky Dupree and her husband; her cherished grandchildren, Kobi, Audrey, Caden, Eisley, and Brinley; and her beloved puppies, Susie and Theo. She also leaves behind her sister and brother by heart Lynette and Pete Soileau.
A memorial service honoring Tami's life will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
Tami will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, compassion, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
