
Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Navy for many years, demonstrating unwavering courage, dedication, and honor. He married the love of his life, Patricia Katherine Groseclose, on June 24, 1957, in Ten Mile, Missouri. Together they shared 61 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories until her passing in 2018.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; his sons, Gary Groseclose and Randy Groseclose; and his daughter, Renea Groseclose.
Anthony is survived by his children: Marty Groseclose and wife Carol of Whitesboro, Teresa Murphy of Denison, and Curtis Groseclose and wife Amanda of Bonham. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren—Dallas, Colby, Jennifer, David, Weston,
Jessica, Steven, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Chris—as well as 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Lisa Queen, and many other family members who will continue to honor his legacy.
A visitation will be held on April 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Funeral services will take place on April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with Brother Cary Kinnaird officiating, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. Following the service, Anthony will be laid to rest at Sandy Cemetery in Ravenna, Texas.
Anthony will be remembered for his strength, devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
