Theater For Hope to hold auditions for summer production of Disney’s Frozen

A summer of Frozen fun!

Sherman, Texas -- On Tuesday and Thursday, April 28 and 30, Theater For Hope will be holding auditions for their summer production of Disney’s Frozen, the full musical from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hope on Houston located at 901 E. Houston Street in Sherman, TX.

Auditions are open to those in the community wanting to be a part of this family-friendly musical.  To audition, come to one of the two dates mentioned with a minute’s worth of a prepared song to sing and read a portion of the script provided that evening.

There are over 20 parts available with an equal number of men and women parts, plus young ones age 9 and up.

Frozen is based on the Disney film by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.  Theater For Hope is the first theater in the area to be producing the full musical Frozen since the rights were released and will be performed at Tom Bean Middle School June 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27.

Theater For Hope is celebrating its five-year anniversary since its creation in the fall of 2021.  As a non-profit 501 (c)(3) community theater its mission is to provide a family-friendly environment where the youth of our community can learn and develop their love and appreciation as well as their skills and interests for the theater and the performing arts.

Frozen is the second show of Theater For Hope’s 2026 season with their current show Sarah, Plain and Tall playing at Hope on Houston Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 16, 17, 18 at 7:00 p.m. and a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance on Saturday.
