Bonham, Texas -- With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Salena Andrea Baker, a cherished soul whose radiant spirit left her mark upon all fortunate enough to know her. Born on November 2, 1988, Salena departed from this life unexpectedly on April 29, 2026, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.
Salena’s professional journey was rooted in the service industry, where her dedication and kindness were evident in every endeavor. Her personality sparkled with a heart of gold; she was loving, generous, and took immense joy in caring for those she held dear. Beyond her compassionate nature, Salena was a woman of vibrant pursuits. She adored the thrill of navigating the roads in her beloved sports car and G Wagon.
Perhaps most touching were the cherished moments she shared with her beloved son, Connor. Their dates, spent in the simple pleasure of watching movies together, were treasures that illuminated her life.
Seven years prior to her passing, fate entwined Salena’s path with that of Marc Brady. Their meeting at Juba’s blossomed into a remarkable companionship filled with friendship and love. A year before her death, they solidified their commitment through engagement, a joyful affirmation of a shared journey marked by closeness and mutual affection. In Marc, Salena found a partner who adored her deeply and spoiled her with unwavering love.
Salena’s presence will be greatly missed by all who cherished her—her affectionate nature and generous spirit leaving a lasting imprint on family and friends alike. She was a rare soul, whose life was woven with love, adventure, and heartfelt connections.

Services to honor and remember Salena Andrea Baker will be held at Wise Funeral Home, located at 219 W Sam Rayburn Dr, Bonham, Texas, 75418. Visitation will commence on May 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow on May 5, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., providing an occasion for all who knew her to pay their respects and celebrate her extraordinary life. Lifelong friend Wolf Laughing will officiate the service.
She is preceded in death by nephew, Christopher Dryden. Salena leaves behind son, Connor Baker, Fiancé, Marc Brady, mother, Tanya McDowell Fraga, father, Jesus Fraga, ex-husband, Lance Baker, sisters, Tanya Deas (Adam), Brianna Gammons (Kris), brothers, Keith Greenwood, Davie Cooper (Nikki), Jesse Greenwood, nieces and nephews, Isabella Deas, Vivian Mace, Leia Deas, Juliet Deas, Jadelyn Fernandez, Ezekial Deas, Elijah Deas, Eli Gammons, and Kambri Gammons.
