The Dodd City Lady Hornets 4 x 200m (800m) Relay Team were back-to-back UIL Class A Region 3 champions 2 weeks ago in Waco, Texas with a winning time of 1:49.29. 

Sophomore Gracyn Shindler, junior Kayleigh McBrayer, and senior sisters Cheyenne & Cierra Johnson will run for a shot to medal at the UIL State Track Meet at the Mike A. Myers Track & Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas this Saturday, May 16. 

The relay is scheduled to start at 6:40 p.m.  The Lady Hornets are running in Lane 6, directly next to Water Valley in Lane 5 who won the gold last year and has the best seed time this season at 1:46.87.
