Bonham, Texas -- Constantine Masonic Lodge #13 AF&AM in Bonham recently presented five $1000 scholarships as well as the Mirabeau B. Lamar Medal and Certificate of Excellence to three Bonham High School graduating seniors and two Dodd City graduating seniors.
Johnny Neal and Sean Floyd of Constantine Lodge made the presentations at the Senior Awards Ceremonies at Bonham High School and Dodd City High School.
The proud recipients from BHS were Sarah Story, Karen Lancaster, and Annalyn Stafford.

Dodd City H.S. recipients were Kenzi Freeman and Cash Crossland..Masonry has long supported public schools and public education.

Mirabeau B. Lamar was the second president of the Republic of Texas and was also a Mason. He is known as the father of the Texas Public School system because his work resulted in the State of Texas setting up a public school system.
