Bonham, Texas -- Frances Jo Tyler, 86, passed away on May 22, 2026. She was born on November 26, 1939, in Anna, Texas to Leon Littrell and Jimmie (Fifer) Littrell.

Frances married Jimmie Neal Tyler on November 19, 1992, and enjoyed 34 loving years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love
for her family was evident in all she did. She earned her master’s degree in accounting and dedicated many years of service as an accountant for Rockwell International. Frances was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church Dodd City.

She found great joy in traveling, gardening, and taking pride in caring for her yard. Frances especially loved spending time outdoors mowing and tending to her flowers and home. Her warm spirit, strong work ethic, and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Fran is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie Tyler of Dodd City; daughter, Katrina Jones and husband Mike of Lone Oak; son, Keith Cate and wife Rena of Bailey; son, Ken Cate of Bonham; daughter, Carrie Tyler-Bolz of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Tyler Jones and wife Christen, Cooper Jones, Nicole Hendricks and husband Cody, Christina Dunn and husband Nathan, and Eric Tyler; great-grandchildren, Brigg, Tripp, Reese, Corbin, Caitlin, and Caleb; sister, Myra Astleford of Allen; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Jimmie Littrell, and brother Paul Littrell.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Cate, Ken Cate, Tyler Jones, Cooper Jones, Corbin Pond, and Cody Hendricks.

Frances will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham with Pastor Mike Haney officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Dodd City Cemetery.
