Greenville, Texas -- Brady Alan Crowell was born on May 23, 1966, in Greenville, Texas, to Richard Lee Crowell and Theta Nell Crowell Culverhouse. Brady was the youngest of three children and spent much of his childhood outdoors on his family’s land, where he developed a deep love for country living and freedom. He graduated from Wolfe City High School in 1984 and soon after opened his first of three businesses.

Brady was a devoted and talented businessman, but his true passion in life was always his family.

Brady was a fun-loving man with a larger-than-life personality who brought laughter and energy wherever he went. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, especially when it came to his wife and children, who were the center of his world. During his first marriage to Zandra Bogard, Brady was blessed to welcome his two sons, Richy Crowell and Jesse Crowell, who were the light of his life and his greatest pride.

On September 22, 2001, Brady married the love of his life, Suzy Crowell, and gained a stepson, Zack White. Brady was the life of every party, the light in every room, and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. Anyone who met Brady remembered him instantly. He had a remarkable gift for storytelling and a way of making people feel heard, valued, and important. His sense of humor was unmatched, and he could bring laughter and comfort to even the weariest soul.

Music was often playing loudly at his home, where he loved to sing, dance, and enjoy life to the fullest. Brady welcomed everyone with open arms, but his favorite visitors were always his grandchildren. Nothing brought him greater joy than seeing their faces. He loved living in the country, where he felt most at peace and most free.

Brady’s life revolved around his family and friends, and he would gladly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He strived to serve others with the same love and compassion Jesus showed to those around Him.

He will be remembered for his big heart, strong presence, and the joy he brought to family and friends. His love, humor, and devotion to his family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the family he cherished so much.

Brady’s laughter, love, and larger-than-life presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Brady is survived by his loving wife, Suzy Crowell; his sisters, Tina Callahan (Ronnie) and Holly Smith (James); his children, Richy Crowell (Morgan), Jesse Crowell (Diana), and Zack White (Ariann); and his beloved grandchildren, Hylee Crowell, Emma Crowell, Rylee Day, Rowdy “RJ” Day, Addison Crowell, Jackson Crowell, Alyssa White, Rylee White, and Ella White. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Michael Callahan, Drew Callahan, Michelle Griffith (Nathan), Matthew Wyche (Marci), Amanda Shepard (Jonathan), his aunt Paula Chamberlain (Paul), and his uncle Tommy Thomason.

Brady was preceded in death by his father, Richard Crowell; his mother, Theta Crowell Culverhouse; his grandparents, Oran and Lois Thomason, Jess and Edith Crowell; and his beloved granddaughter, Everlee Crowell.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Cross Trails Cowboy Church, located at 4761 FM 1563 in Fairlie, TX 75496. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.

Brady requested that friends donate to their favorite children’s charity instead of flowers for him.
