Ector, Texas — Hometown raceboat driver Aaron Green and his Ector-based race team, Green Marine Motorsports, are making waves in the IHRA Powerboat Championship Series and continuing their climb up the national points standings.
Following two strong race weekends, Green Marine Motorsports has surged into 5th place overall in the championship standings. The team’s recent success began in Shreveport, Louisiana, where Green captured a heat race victory and followed it up with a strong 4th-place finish in the final.
Momentum continued last weekend in Marble Falls, Texas, as Green again claimed a heat race win and finished 5th in the final, further strengthening the team’s position in the championship chase.
“We’ve had some of our strongest performances of the season over the last two races, and the team has worked incredibly hard to put us in contention,” said Green. “Moving into 5th place is exciting, but we’re focused on continuing to improve and climb even higher in the standings.”
The team’s next stop on the IHRA Powerboat Championship Series schedule will be Alton, Illinois, in July, where Green Marine Motorsports will look to build on its recent success and continue its push toward the top of the points standings.
Green Marine Motorsports is also actively seeking new marketing partners and sponsors. Businesses interested in gaining exposure through the team’s race boat, transport trailer, and social media presence are encouraged to reach out.
