Gober, Texas -- The Gober community will gather once again on Sunday, June 28, for the 4th Annual Gober Community BBQ, an event that has quickly become a tradition for residents, former residents, families, and friends throughout Fannin County and beyond.

The barbecue will be held at the Gober Community Center, with service scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a barbecue meal featuring a plate, drink, and dessert while spending the afternoon visiting with neighbors and reconnecting with old friends.

More than just a meal, the annual event serves as an important fundraiser for the Gober Community Center. Proceeds from the barbecue help fund building maintenance, facility improvements, and community activities held throughout the year, ensuring the center remains a gathering place for generations to come.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and stay awhile to enjoy the fellowship and small-town hospitality that have become hallmarks of the annual gathering.

Advance tickets are available for $25, while tickets purchased at the door will be $40. Each ticket includes one barbecue plate, a drink, and dessert.
