Ivanhoe, Texas -- Glenn Darrell Hawley, 78, of Ivanhoe, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 16, 1947, in Memphis, Texas, Glenn was the son of William “Buddy” Hawley and Eva “Connie” Jones. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran.

A devoted husband, Glenn married the love of his life, Doris Parrish Hawley, on March 3, 1972. Together they built a loving home and shared many cherished memories throughout their marriage.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Hawley; daughter, Theresa Campbell; son, Troy Glenn Hawley and wife, LeAnn; and grandchildren, Jasper Hawley, Oliver Hawley, Elijah Hawley, and Eoin Campbell.

He is also survived by his maternal sister, Deloys Sutherland; nieces, Rhonda Croft and Bilynda Mathis; nephews, James Morrison and wife, Evelyn, and Brady Sutherland; paternal sisters, Oleta Stone and husband, Donnie, Mary Lou Adair and husband, Jerry, Cathy McHenry and husband, Jerry; paternal brother, Robert Hawley and wife, Cathy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on June 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lannius Church of God. A funeral service celebrating Glenn’s life will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Ceremonial burial will follow at Duplex Cemetery.
