Bonham, Texas -- Linda Kay (Arie) Howard, 75, of Bonham, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1951.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Bonham and a devoted member of First Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she faithfully served her community by volunteering with the Kids Clothes Closet ministry. She spent many years working at Bonham State Bank, where she formed countless lifelong friendships and was known for her kindness, warmth, and caring heart.

Above all else, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart. Whether it was a ballgame, school event, recital, or any special occasion, Linda was always there in the stands, proudly wearing their team colors and cheering them on. Her unwavering love, encouragement, and presence will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Arie; Frantz Howard, her parents, Hubert Spoon and Jeannie Mae Spoon; and her brother, Leslie Spoon.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Bethany Arie; her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Billy Watkins; beloved grandchildren, Trey Watkins and wife Megan Watkins, Kaylee Saucier and husband Alex Saucier, and Audrey Arie; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Saucier and Gerard Saucier.

She also leaves behind her stepson and wife, Lantz and Jessica Howard; and her stepdaughter and husband, Krystal and Mike Floyd. her step-grandchildren, Braxton Floyd, Cason Floyd, Mikalie Floyd, Kennedie Howard, Sawyer Howard, Preslee Howard, and Chantzlyn Howard; Sister in law Kathy Spoon and cousins Jeanette Yates, Paula Timberlake, Doug Newman, and Cindy Kines.

Linda was a beautiful lady inside and out. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, steadfast faith, and unconditional love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave so freely, and the memories that will be treasured forever.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church  Bonham. Visitation will be held an hour prior, starting at 10:00 a.m.. Bro. Ronnie Ball will officiate assisted by Bro. Andrew Malone. Burial will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Trey Watkins, Alex Saucier, Todd Ford, Jimbo Simpson, Randy Boggs, and Johnny Neal.
