Howard was born on February 15, 1943, in Missoula, Montana, to Ceacil Forest Allen and Mary Lucinda Eveland Allen. Before settling in Texas, Howard spent more than 35 years driving trucks across the Country. His dedication and hard work ethic earned him the million-mile award.
After moving to Texas, he began a house moving and foundation company with some close friends. Putting his heavy hauling experience to work. Once Howard moved on from moving houses, he started working on vehicles. His mechanic shop was where he continued doing what he loved. Working with his hands, solving problems, and helping others. For a few years, Howard served as the team “Dad” for the Texas Spirit Riders Rodeo Drill Team. He used his driving experience to help keep the team safe on the road. His kindness, guidance, and dependability made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Howard’s greatest accomplishment in life was his family, especially becoming a grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with those he loved and found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family and friends.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Ceacil and Mary Allen, daughter Laurie Allen, son, Marky Allen, ex-wife Rosemary Allen, brother, Henry Allen, and sister, Lucelli Coleman.
