Kerrville, Texas -- Fresh off a successful Fourth of July celebration at Luckenbach Texas, Robert Earl Keen is pleased to announce the supporting acts for the Saturday (Sept. 5) and Sunday (Sept. 6) shows of Homecoming Weekend at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, TX. As always, the weekend will cap off with Fan Appreciation Day on Monday, Sept. 7th. For the fifth year in a row, this free event is Keen’s way of giving back to the fans who have given so much to him over the last 40+ years.

On Saturday, September 5th, rising country star Coleman Jennings and Texas music legend Gary P. Nunn will open up the evening for the outdoor show at Floore’s, followed by a rare performance of Keen’s 2004 fan-favorite, #2 Live Dinner. Backed by his ace band, Keen will perform this generational record front to back for a special 30th anniversary tribute. Andrew Duhon will kick off the evening on Sunday, September 6th before Keen’s “Songs & Stories” guitar pull indoors at Floore’s, featuring legendary singer-songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard, the wild and wonderful Steve Poltz, country music royalty Suzy Bogguss, and Keen swapping songs and telling stories.

And on Monday, Sept. 7, Labor Day proper, Fan Appreciation Day’s doors will open at 2 PM, and music will go until the good folks at Floore’s kick everybody out after Keen and the band’s headline set. As it has been for the past five years, the all-day Labor Day fiesta will be a free event, featuring yet-to-be-announced guests and a Robert Earl Keen Band performance for those lucky enough to win the ticket lottery. More on that below.

The Fan Appreciation Day ticket lottery for the Sept. 7th show is live now. Enter at this link. All other tickets, including the aforementioned VIP packages, are on sale now, and can be found right here for Saturday and here for Sunday. A note for fans wanting to travel in from out of state: The purchase of a 3-Day VIP or General Admission ticket guarantees access to Monday’s main event.

About Robert Earl Keen: After 21 albums full of songs like “Gringo Honeymoon,” “Feelin’ Good Again,” and “Corpus Christi Bay,” thousands of shows, songs cut by artists including George Strait and The Highwaymen, and many well-deserved accolades like the BMI Troubadour Award, the Texas Heritage Songwriter Hall of Fame, and the Texas A&M Distinguished Alumni Award—of which only 300 or so have been awarded from more than half-a-million graduates—it would be hard to find anybody in the same shoes who would willingly give it all up for a quiet life at home. As Keen projects from the stage every night, along with the help of every set of lungs in the room, “The road goes on forever, and the party never ends!”

Those words have never seemed more true for the Americana pioneer, and in Keen’s late-career renaissance, his party doesn’t just “never end,” it keeps growing. Just this year, Keen made an iconic, late-career debut on the Grand Ole Opry, was invited to join Tyler Childers for a sold out show at the world-famous Hollywood Bowl, and helped his old friends Turnpike Troubadours rattle Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, all while continuing to headline his own shows in iconic venues, host his Americana Podcast: The 51st State, putting together a new book, and recording yet another new album.
