CASA training to begin in August - Change a child's life!

Bonham, Texas -- The Fannin County Children's Center is seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers. As a CASA, you will be appointed by the 336th District Court to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care.

"Being a CASA can be challenging, but when your case comes to fruition, you know that you have accomplished something truly important," says Jarrett Tucker, a CASA specialist. "But the real reward is watching these kids mature and hopefully live better lives."

Fannin County Children's Center is in need of new Court Appointed Special Advocates because the Children's Center has new cases with no CASAs.

Want to make a difference in a child's life? Fannin County Children's Center will host training classes for new CASAs on August 4, 11, 18, 25, 26.
