Nine top drum and bugle corps, including hometown favorite The Guardians, will compete at McKinney ISD Stadium as part of the Drum Corps International's national summer tour.
McKinney, Texas -- Visit McKinney invites music lovers and families across North Texas to experience the sight and sound of Drum Corps International (DCI) as nine elite drum and bugle corps take the field at McKinney ISD Stadium on Monday, July 20, 2026, for DCI McKinney.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with the show kicking off at 8 p.m. following a welcome and national anthem. The evening's lineup features:
- The Guardians – McKinney, TX
- Blue Stars – La Crosse, WI
- Carolina Crown – Fort Mill, SC
- Crossmen – San Antonio, TX
- Genesis – Austin, TX
- Phantom Regiment – Rockford, IL
- Spirit of Atlanta – Atlanta, GA
- Troopers – Casper, WY
- Zephyrus – Tulsa, OK

Each corps is made up of talented young musician-athletes competing for points on the road to the DCI World Championships, held August 8 in Indianapolis, Indiana. McKinney is proud to once again host a stop on this prestigious national tour, giving local audiences a front-row seat to some of the finest marching music performers in the country.
Drumline Expo Kicks Off the Weekend – The excitement begins the night before at the free Drumline Expo, set for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at TUPPS Brewery. The expo gives fans an up-close look at DCI corps drumlines ahead of Monday night's full competition. The expo will be held from 7-9 p.m. More information can be found on the TUPPS Brewery website.
Tickets and Event Information – Individual tickets for DCI McKinney range from $46 to $70, with discounted group rates ($36–$60) available for scholastic groups of 20 or more. Tickets are available now at tickets.dci.org. Cash will not be accepted at the box office; all tickets must be purchased online. McKinney ISD Stadium is located at 4201 S Hardin Blvd, McKinney, TX 75070 and there will be parking available on site.
