Indictments handed down in City of Godley case

Cleburne, Texas -- Today, July 15th, 2026, a Grand Jury was impaneled at the Guinn Justice Center, and cases were presented to them in relation to an ongoing investigation involving Ashley and Michael Ketcherside, and former Godley Police Department Chief of Police Matthew Cantrell, and former Godley Police Department officers Solomon Omotoya, and Jeremy Arbuthnot.

Multiple charges were presented for consideration, and the Grand Jury handed down the following indictments:

Ashley Ketcherside was indicted on charges of: Participate in an enterprise through Racketeering Money Laundering $150,000.00 but less than $300,000.00

Michael Ketcherside was indicted on charges of: Participate in an enterprise through Racketeering Money Laundering $150,000.00 but less than $300,000.00 Continuous promotion of Prostitution

Matthew Cantrell was indicted on charges of: Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity Promotion of Prostitution Sexual Assault (2 Counts) Stalking

Jeremy Arbuthnot was indicted on charges of: Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

Solomon Omotoya was indicted on charges of: Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity Solicitation of Prostitution

Regina Cantrell was indicted on a charge of: Misuse of Official Information

District Attorney Timothy Good said, “We would like to thank the Grand Jury for their service. This is an exceptionally detailed and ongoing investigation with some allegations that are very difficult to hear. This ongoing investigation is particularly troubling with several of those accused in the cases presented this morning serving in some capacity of law enforcement. We hold our law enforcement professionals to a higher standard in this community, and we are continuing to investigate this case as additional information is disclosed to investigators.
