Reston, Va., July 20, 2026 — The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), the leading organization representing stenographic court reporters, captioners, and legal videographers, announced that Stacey Potenza, CRC, an agency owner from McKinney, Texas, has been elected to serve as its 2026-2027 Vice President. The announcement was made at the 2026 NCRA Conference & Expo held July 16-18 in Bellevue, Wash.
Stacey Potenza is a CART and broadcast captioner and a global accessibility manager with more than 19 years of experience providing realtime captioning. She holds the nationally recognized professional certification of Certified Realtime Captioner (CRC).
At the national level, Potenza served a two-year term as Secretary-Treasurer. She has also served as a National Director and as a member and co-chair of NCRA’s Captioning and Education Content Committees and the Political Action Committee Governing Board. She is also a frequent presenter at NCRA conferences.
Potenza graduated from the Denver Academy of Court Reporting with an Associate of Applied Science to complete her court reporting degree. In addition, she has completed more than two semesters toward a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Potenza is a past secretary of the Kansas Court Reporters Association.
