Bonnie was born December 25, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to Evelyn Parker Bledsoe and James Marcus Bledsoe.

Bonnie attended Hillcrest High School in Dallas, Baylor University and SMU.

Bonnie met Christopher Dyess while they were both employed by the IRS in Dallas. They married in 2011 and moved to Ivanhoe, Texas after retirement.

Bonnie was a talented painter and enjoyed her lady's art group with the Creative Arts Center in Bonham. She also taught classes and served on the board for many years. She loved doing readers' theater performances there and was a true "natural".

However, her greatest joy was her many dogs and cats

Bonnie is preceded in death by her brother Marc, her parents and her husband Chris.

Her only survivor is sister Cindy Bledose Crosby, Plano, TX.

Bonnie was laid to rest at Bettes Cemetery in Ivanhoe, Texas.
