NOTICE OF FRIDAY CLOSING:
The Criminal District Attorney's Office at 800 E. 2nd will be closed for business to and with the public and all county offices, at noon every Friday, as we transition and move from this location to our new office space in the Justice Center.
We will be in between places, or packing, or unpacking, arranging furniture (standard moving in kind of things) and trying to confirm that things work and security is in place.
We will do that while still preparing for the 3 justice courts, the county court at law, the 336th district court, mental health court, drug court, veterans court, and the commissioners court, and/or a combination of these things along with helping all other departments as requested, and then all law enforcement agencies-24 hours a day.
We will not be answering phones or on our computers in any consistent manner.
This is just a heads-up not just for my good troops and the county, but for the public.
This is simply a matter of commons sense and safety for this office as well a courtesy and a recognition of the great work of my troops here. They are the BEST!
