Bonham, Texas -- Linda Ann Loftin passed away on August 1, 2026, just days shy of her 81st birthday. She was born on August 11, 1945, in Honey Grove, Texas, to T.B. Tyler and Louise Baty Tyler.

Linda dedicated many years to serving others in the healthcare field. She began her career in the early 1970s as a Laboratory and X-ray Technician at the M&S Clinic, which later became Texoma Care Bonham. Over the course of her 50-year career alongside Drs. Walter and Dana Sisk, Linda made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the countless patients she cared for. Patients often praised her remarkable ability to draw blood with little to no discomfort.

Family was at the center of Linda’s life. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She found joy and tranquility in tending and cultivating beautiful flowers and caring for her one-acre yard. Linda also enjoyed creating treasured memories while traveling throughout the United States. Her children often speak of the cross-country trips they shared and how their parents inspired a lifelong love of travel.

While she was able, Linda attended First United Methodist Church in Bonham and truly enjoyed fellowship with the church family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, T.B. Tyler and Louise Tyler; her beloved husband, Jerry Loftin; and her brothers, Delbert Tyler and Jerry Tyler.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Robinson and husband Michael, of Sherman; her son, William "Bill" Loftin and wife Maria, of Bakersfield, California; her grandchildren, Alex Cruz and husband Ron; Channon Gibson; Cody Loftin and wife Aubrey; Ryan Gibson; her great-grandchildren, Dillon Gibson; Titus Cruz; Scarlett Cruz; Savannah Cruz and Mallory Loftin; her brother, Larry Tyler and wife Frances of Blossom; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Linda's life during a visitation at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family will have a private interment at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.

Linda Ann Loftin will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and steadfast devotion to both her family and her profession. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
