Doris dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. Her career reflected her caring nature and desire to help those around her.

Doris married her beloved husband, Johnny Mills, on January 3, 2000, in Odessa, Texas. Together they made their home in Odessa, Texas, where they shared and created cherished memories together.

She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Davis and nephew Evan Brown.

Doris is survived by her beloved husband, Johnny Mills of Odessa; sons, Scotty Hill and wife Carrie of Kentucky, and David Hill and wife Melissa of Odessa; daughter, Donna Flippo of Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; mother, Alice Davis of Bonham; sisters, Susan Ashlock of Bonham and Sandy Freeman of Lake Creek, Texas; along with other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Monday, August 24, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Cody Nelson will officiate. Doris will be laid to rest at Windom Cemetery following the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Hill, David Hill, Douglas Hill, Benny Craig Taylor, and John Freeman.

Doris will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
