Dodd City, Texas -- The Dodd City hitters and service game was too much for Trinity Christian Academy-Paris on Thursday evening as the Lady Hornets won in straight sets: 25-9, 25-9 and 25-13.

Gracyn Shindler led all hitters with 17 kills, Kodi Dorau put down eight kills, Caroline Lackey contributed six kills, Kayleigh McBrayer had three kills and Adisen White put down a pair of kills.

White dished out 16 assists and McBrayer finished with 14 assists.

Kennedy Chaney came up with a team-high 12 digs, followed by Shindler (10 digs), White (8 digs), Dorau (6 digs), Lindsey (6digs), McBrayer (3 digs), and Makayla Camp (2 digs).

Shindler slipped eight aces through the TCA-Paris defense, Dorau was close behind with seven aces, while McBrayer and White each had three aces.

Shindler had two blocks and Clark had one block.

The Lady Hornets will host Greenville homeschool Christian on Friday, August 21, with varsity action beginning at 4:30 p.m.
