Lisa was born on November 3, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to Norwin Duane Jones and Linda Maria Kellum Jones.

She worked for Bonham Hardware/Fix & Feed in Downtown Bonham for 20 years, where she became a familiar and valued part of the community.

Family was at the center of Lisa’s life. She loved her family dearly and made every effort to attend every family function. She especially treasured her nieces and nephews, who held a very special place in her heart.

Lisa enjoyed many things throughout her life. As a young adult, she played softball and enjoyed crafting, but she also had a special love for horses. During her teenage years, she competed alongside her family at play days, participating in events such as barrel racing, poles, and flags.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Norwin Duane and Linda Jones; brother-in-law, Jeff Vittetoe; niece, Stacy Nicole Vittetoe; and sister-in-law, Kelly Walker Jones.

She leaves behind a loving family including her sister, Gina Giles and her husband Jamy; brother, Keith Jones; niece, Casey Vittetoe Harrison and her husband Phil; nephew, Brody Vittetoe and his wife Chelsea; nieces, Jessica Jones Saldana and her husband Miguel, and Molly Elizabeth Jones. Great-niece, Evelyn Marie Jones, Grady Vittetoe, Penelope Harrison, Jude Harrison, Reed Vittetoe, Andie Vittetoe, and Baker Vittetoe.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas, with Bro. Cody Nelson officiating. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenview Cemetery in Brashear, Texas.
