US 75 exit ramps and FM 121 closures

Grayson County, Texas -- Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials today announced that there will be nighttime road closures on US 75.

US 75 southbound exit ramp to FM 121 (Exit 51) will be closed every night from August 31 to September 04 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers can continue traveling south and take the next exit ramp.

US 75 northbound exit ramp to FM 121 (Exit 51) will be closed every night from August 31 to September 04 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers can continue traveling north and take the next exit ramp.

US 75 northbound and southbound frontage roads at the intersection of FM 121 will have nightly lane closures from August 31 to September 04 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. During these closures, only one lane will be closed at a time allowing traffic to travel north and south using one open lane.

FM 121 at the intersection of us 75 will be closed every night from August 31 to September 04 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Businesses at the corners of the intersection will have access at all times.
The closures are needed to safely perform milling and hot mix asphalt work at the intersection of US 75 and FM 121. Message boards will be placed ahead of the work location to alert drivers. Flaggers will be directing drivers to facilitate & control traffic travelling through the intersection.
During this period, TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution. Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. Motorists should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
