Fannin County, Texas -- “Stars, Stripes and County Fair Nights” has been named the theme for the 2026 Fannin County Fair Parade, scheduled for October 5! Embracing our nation’s 250th birthday celebration, the county fair parade conjures up memories of yesteryear and all things small town America.

Sirens will fill the Fannin County Courthouse square with excitement as participants begin the parade route to kick-off fair week. Line-up will be on West 5th Street with the route winding around the historic courthouse back to 5th and exiting downtown north on Main Street. Barricades will be placed at all curbside corners for the safety of the public.

The line-up this year includes floats from civic and school organizations, Fannin County Fair Pageant reigning royalty and contestants, antique cars, area school marching bands, cheer/pom & dance teams and much more. The Fair Board invites all citizens and organizations that want to be a part of this time-honored tradition to register on-line at https://www.fannincountyfair.net/fair-parade before September 28.
