Bonham, Texas -- Glenda Arlene Moore, 75, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1951, to George Alvin Phillips and Thelma Oleta (Trent) Phillips.
Arlene married the love of her life, John Brook Moore, on October 18, 1969. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their family.
Arlene worked at the Bonham Public Library for over 30 years, where her love of reading and helping others was a natural fit. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and someone who cherished the simple joys of life. She enjoyed the sunshine, reading, and most of all, being involved in the activities of her children and grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband, John Brook Moore of Elwood, Texas; son, John Marshall Moore and wife Staci of Avery, Texas; daughters, Mindi Brooke Baker and husband Kyle of Ivanhoe, Texas, and Kelli Lynn Ringressy and husband Harry of Ivanhoe, Texas; grandchildren, Kelcie, Kyle, Johnna, Drew, Jaci, Scout, Emily, Judd, Kylie, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Kolt, Landyn, Parker, and Lynnlee; and brother, George Alan Phillips; sister-in-law, Shelia Moore Courtney and husband Johnny of Winnsboro, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Alvin and Thelma Oleta Phillips, nephews, Chris Spann and Alex Reese, and in-laws, Ellie and Marshall (Cotton) Moore.
Arlene will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her love, warmth, and devotion to her family will remain in their hearts and memories forever.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
