Durant, Oklahoma -- The 2026-27 performance calendar for the Musical Arts Series at Southeastern Oklahoma State University has been set, with six concerts slated.
The 54th Season of the Musical Arts Series is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, Oklahoma Arts Council, Steger Piano Institute, and the Clark and Wanda Bass Foundation. All performances will be held in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

2026-27 Musical Arts Series Calendar 

Tuesday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m.: Rogerio Nunes and Jonathan Mamora

Tuesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m.: Jonathan Stinson and Kristy Mezines

Thursday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m.: Danny Milan

Tuesday, January 12 at 7:30 p.m.: John Quijano

Tuesday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.: Anne-Marie Condacse and Elena Lyalina

Saturday, April 10 at 4 p.m.: Tommy Poole Jazz Ensemble

The calendar opens on September 8 with the duo of Rogerio Nunes on violin and Jonathan Mamora on piano.
Rogério Nunes is an assistant professor of music at Southwestern Adventist University and an accomplished violinist and violist. A native of Brazil, Nunes has performed as a soloist, concertmaster and chamber musician in the United States and internationally. He holds degrees in violin and viola performance and earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in violin performance from the University of Georgia.

Jonathan Mamora is an internationally acclaimed pianist and educator and director of keyboard studies at La Sierra University. He has performed throughout North America, Europe and Asia and has won numerous international piano competitions. Mamora made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2023 and holds degrees from La Sierra University and The Juilliard School.
