Bonham, Texas -- In the tranquil town of Honey Grove, Texas on a warm summer's day in July, 1948, Roy was born to Leon Robison and Ola Grace (Orr). Raised amidst the countryside landscapes, Roy's upbringing was steeped in the values of family, hard work, and community. These principles guided him throughout his life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Roy cherished the bonds of family, a testament to which is his enduring, loving marriage to Phyllis (Roberts). They exchanged vows on May 1, 1971, in Honey Grove, Texas, beginning a remarkable journey together that has spanned over 55 years. Their union was blessed with three children: Angela Robison Bruce (Waylon), Stephanie Robison, and Jason Robison, each of whom he was immeasurably proud. Roy found joy in the lives of his grandchildren, Arron Butner (Nicollette), Averi Wanner, Dagony Bruce, and Ayden Wanner. He took great delight in the presence of his great-grandchild, Jameson Butner.

Roy's family roots ran deep. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Mary Grace Clements, Milton Robison, Dorothy Louise Smallwood, Betty Ruth Bowen, Brenda Jane Houston (Tim), and Bertha Faye Alice Allen. Though predeceased by his parents and brother JC Robison, the memories they shared remained a source of comfort and strength. His extended family of nieces and nephews enriched his life, creating a tapestry of vibrant connections and cherished moments.
