Bonham, Texas - North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation and includes Fannin County.
In Bonham, a Community Celebration for North Texas Giving Day will be held on Thursday, Sept 17 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Creative Arts Center at 200 W 5th Street. Garden gates will open at 6 pm. Admission is free. Credit Union of Texas will bring their food truck and be serving up free brisket nachos. Fannin Bank will be serving up glasses of cold sweet tea and homemade desserts. Neighbors Place Winery will be on hand, selling drinks.

Local nonprofits participating in North Texas Giving Day will be there too, letting folks know how they make a difference in our community. Some local artists will be set up, painting and drawing en plein air.
At 7:00 p.m., The Buzz Andrews Band will entertain everyone with live music. Buzz has been playing all over North Texas for over 20 years.

From Johnny Cash to Merle to Sting to Grand Funk Railroad to Clapton – no one does it better! He and his band will entertain your socks off and send you home with a huge grin.
Local musician Alonzo Beavers will be our opening act starting at 6:00 p.m.
Nonprofits in attendance at the Community Celebration will include Community Well Texas, Creative Arts Center, Fannin County Children’s Center, Fannin County Family Crisis Center, Fannin Health Clinic, Feeding Fannin, Foster Village North Texas, Getting Ahead Fannin County, Grayson Pride, Open Arms Shelter, Windom Art School and Women Rock.
