She was born on September 2, 1957 in Bonham to the late Joe Donald Crain and Brenda (Hines) Crain. Debbie graduated from Bonham High School in 1975.

She worked at Texas Instruments for 20 years and during that time she made many friends. Debbie married Marc Wetzel on November 25, 1984. Debbie would light up any room she entered. She was introduced to the church by her grandparents who helped raise her, Coleman and Idell Hines, which made her faith in the Lord strong. She lived for her kids and her husband. She never missed a sports game or recital, she was always there even in her sick times wanted to make her grandkids basketball games. The world has lost one of its Brightest souls.

She is survived by her Husband Marc Wetzel, son Marcus Wetzel and wife Taylor, son Marshal Wetzel, and daughter Macy Wetzel, five grandchildren, Kylie, Marleigh, Harper, Watson and Taelor.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dennis and David Crain as well as her grandparents Coleman and Idell Hines.

Family visitation will be held on Monday, September 14 form 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Waldo Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14 at the Cedar Cemetery near Luella.

Pallbearers will be Paul Wetzel, Brad Monks, Travis Wilson, Marshall Wetzel, Marcus Wetzel, and Steve Book.

Honorary pallbearers, Chris Morrissey, Buddy Dodson and Arthur Chaney.
