Sherman, Texas -- The fall festival season is officially underway with the 45th Annual Sherman Arts Fest held Saturday, September 19 at Kidd-Key Park and the Sherman Municipal Building.

Hundreds of festival-goers came out early Saturday morning, while others braved the lingering summer heat to shop with vendors set up all around the Municipal Building.

The Municipal Ballroom offered a cool respite and an opportunity to enjoy the Sherman Art League's Art Show and Sale and the Youth Art Show, two highlights of this event.

Live entertainment was scheduled for two stages to guarantee a full day of fun for the family.
