Bonham Police Officer arrested in Grapevine for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon

Bonham, Texas -- On October 4, 2026, at approximately 11 p.m.,  Bonham Police Department was notified by the Grapevine Police Department that they had arrested Bonham Police Officer Curtis Humphreys on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

He was transported to the Tarrant County Jail and booked on those charges.

The Bonham Police Department sent officers to retrieve Humphrey’s police credentials from the Jail. An immediate internal affairs investigation has been opened by the Bonham Police Department. The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
