Fannin County, Texas -- Thursday night was filled with excitement, laughter, and a little livestock magic as Ms. Kelton’s Class, alongside Life Skills students from Bonham High School and FCSSA/Honey Grove ISD, participated in the Champion Livestock Drive at the Fannin County Fair!

With bright smiles and eager hands, students proudly entered the show ring alongside FFA exhibitors as special information about each student was shared with the crowd. From fluffy rabbits and woolly lambs to curious goats, powerful cattle, and playful pigs, students experienced the sights, sounds, and textures of the livestock world firsthand! Beyond the excitement, this incredible opportunity fostered confidence, communication, responsibility, community inclusion, and meaningful connections.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the outstanding FFA exhibitors who patiently guided our students through the ring, generously shared their animals, and helped create an atmosphere of encouragement, acceptance, and belonging.

A great big THANK YOU also goes to Nicole Edwards and family, KC Photography, Amy Wright of B-Town Nutrition, Derrick Recer, LaTosha Lucas (I.W. Evans Paraprofessional) and family, and the many generous individuals who invested their time, talents, and hearts into making this event such a rewarding success!

Because sometimes the most meaningful lessons aren’t taught behind a desk—they’re experienced in a show ring, surrounded by a community that believes every student deserves a chance to shine.
