Early voting begins October 19, 2026 and ends on October 30, 2026.

Election day is November 3, 2026.

Make sure you are familiar with the candidate’s positions on issues that are important to you before you cast your vote. You will find several key issues listed below and how each candidate is aligned to these issues in the Texas Governor’s race and the U.S. Senate race.

NOTE: Jenn Mack is a write-in candidate for Governor. It is my understanding that the name of write-in candidates will not be displayed as a choice in the same field as the regular candidates. However, a list of write-in candidates will be provided in the voting booth. If you choose to vote for a write-in candidate, you must choose the Write-In option instead of a regular candidate. Then you are required to type the name of the write-in candidate in the field indicated.

TRANSGENDER RIGHTS

Like any other citizen, they have the same human rights protected in our constitution, as long as they do not infringe on the rights of other citizens.

Directed state agencies to recognize only two sexes, male and female, aligning state policies with biological sex at birth.

Signed SB 8, requiring individuals in public schools, government buildings, and prisons to use restroom and changing facilities matching their sex assigned at birth.

Voted against SB 14 in 2023 which banned gender-transition care (such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy) for minors in Texas.

Voted against HB 1106 in 2025, which sought to protect parents from being investigated for child abuse or neglect if they declined to affirm a childe gender identity or sexual orientation.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Border security is a constitutional duty.

Signed SB 4 making unauthorized border crossing a state crime.

Opposes aggressive state-backed immigration crackdowns, criticizing current state leadership for enabling controversial federal and state enforcement actions.

ABORTION ON DEMAND

Pro-life.

Holds a strong anti-abortion (pro-life) position.

Strongly opposes Texas’ near-total abortion ban.

CRIMINLAL JUSTICE REFORM

Supports police recruitment, training, and retention. No defunding ever. Keep violent and repeat offenders behind bars with truth-in-sentencing reforms.

Supports a strict, tough-on-crime approach focused on increasing state oversight of local prosecutors, restricting bail, and expanding law enforcement task forces.

Criticized Texas’s high incarceration rates and arguing that the state needs to “reverse course”.

GUN RIGHTS

Defends every Texan’s constitutional right to keep and bear arms without government infringement. Opposes any federal overreach that would restrict lawful gun ownership in Texas. Ensure law-abiding Texans can carry and defend themselves and their families.

Signed HB 1927 in 2021, allowing eligible Texans to carry handguns in public without a license or training.

Championed legislation making Texas a sanctuary state to protect residents from federal gun control regulations.

Advocates for requiring a License to Carry for long guns and expressed skepticism regarding open or unregulated carry of military-style rifles in public spaces like the state capitol.

ELECTION INTEGRITY

We need to stop having talks and conferences about this subject and start bringing evidence and charges.

Signed SB 1 into law, upholding the integrity of elections in Texas. SB 1 ensures trust and confidence in our election system and makes it easier to vote and harder to cheat.

Opposes partisan gerrymandering and restrictive voting laws.

PRAYER IN SCHOOL

Defends protection of religious liberty for families, churches, ministries, and faith-based schools and charities. God warns nations that turn their back on Him will be struck with madness.

Signed SB 11 into law, which permits school districts to offer a daily period for students and staff to engage in voluntary prayer or read religious texts.

Strongly opposes state-sponsored prayer, proselytizing, and the insertion of religion in Texas public schools.

SHARIA LAW

We have a US constitution and a state constitution that says we cannot have a dual government so if someone is impersonating a judge, they need to be arrested for impersonating a judge. We don’t need more laws we need to act within our constitution which is already in place.

Strongly opposes Sharia law, maintaining that only Texas and American laws are valid within the state of Texas.

Has not made Sharia law a prominent focus of her campaign.
