Sherman, Texas -- All of Texoma is invited to a special, one-time-only lecture and magic show by Sherman’s own Rudy Reynoso on Friday, October 23 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Sherman Hall, Hoxie Thompson Auditorium on the Austin College campus. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are free and available here, but limited to four per person.

Famed illusionist Harry Houdini performed at Austin College in Hoxie Thompson Auditorium on October 16, 1924, wowing audiences with his impossible feats. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Houdini’s death just two years later, Reynoso will take the same stage with an act inspired by the legend.

Reynoso is an award-winning magician and entertainer who has graced stages from SXSW to the Grammy Awards and who started out right here in Sherman.

There will also be a lecture presented before the show by Reynoso on Thursday, October 22 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the Hoxie Thompson Auditorium titled, “Houdini’s Life, Legacy, & Fight for Truth.” This event is also free and open to the public, with no registration required.
