In Loving Memory of Emily Chaney Treadway

Windom, Texas -- Emily Chaney Treadway passed away on October 20, 2026. Born in Spring Hill, Texas on February 20, 1938, she grew into a woman of kindness and grace.

On June 7, 1958, Emily married Alton Glen Treadway, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned over 68 years of marriage built on unwavering love and trust. Emily spent many wonderful years as a devoted first grade school teacher, planting seeds of kindness in the hearts of countless children.

Emily's nurturing spirit extended into her family life; she was a deeply devoted mother to her daughters, Jane Conley and Christina Treadway, an amazing grandmother to her four grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to her two great-grandchildren.

Emily possessed a kind heart and was loved by everyone who knew her. She is now resting in eternal glory, wrapped in the peace of her Savior.

Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
