Fannin County, Texas -- The Fannin County Courthouse was filled with Halloween excitement as children from three area elementary schools stopped by for a morning of trick-or-treating, costumes and sweet treats.

Students from Finley-Oates Elementary, Sam Rayburn Elementary and Honey Grove Elementary joined in the Halloween celebration, bringing plenty of smiles and holiday spirit to the courthouse.

Organized by Fannin County Courthouse employees, the event gave students a chance to enjoy a little Halloween fun while getting to know some of the people who work in their community.

Courthouse employees got into the spirit of the occasion by dressing up in Halloween costumes and handing out candy to the visiting students. From festive decorations to creative costumes, the courthouse offered a fun and welcoming atmosphere for the children.

The students made their way through the first floor of the courthouse, showing off their costumes and collecting treats along the way. Laughter and excitement filled the building as employees and students enjoyed the special visit.

The annual-style gathering was a wonderful opportunity to bring local schools and county employees together, creating memories and celebrating one of the most anticipated holidays of the year.

For the children, it was more than just collecting candy. It was a chance to experience the courthouse in a different way and enjoy the Halloween season with members of their community.
