Honey Grove, Texas -- Carol Ann Hevron, 80, of Honey Grove, Texas, was born on September 28, 1946, in Greenville, Texas, to Thelma and Stanley Jones. Carol departed this world on October 29, 2026, surrounded by family.

Carol was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She married the love of her life, Lewis Ray Hevron, on August 31, 1973, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Paris. She was the kindest and most caring person that you could ever meet. She loved her family and protected them at all costs.

There’s nothing that Carol wouldn’t do for the people she loved. Carol‘s favorite time of the year was Christmas, and she would plan months of head for it with Christmas
presents, bows, and wrapping paper stashed all over the house. Her favorite weather was in the fall and spring when she could cuddle up in the cold, rainy, and cloudy weather with Ray and her coffee. She worked over 20 years at Farmers & Merchants State Bank as branch manager and cashier in Honey Grove and eventually retired to keep her grandkids. She loved sitting on the
back porch looking out on her Magnolia trees, rock garden, and flowers. Words cannot express how much she will be missed and how much her family loves her.

Carol is survived by her son Bobby Hevron and his wife Jenci of Paris and their three sons Bradyn, Kannyn, and Cruz; son, Courtney Hevron of Honey Grove; her grandchildren: Trevor, Devin, Abram, Addi, and their mom Shawonna Barnett of Honey Grove and Blossom; Glenn and Patti of McKinney Texas and their children Amy and Bryan; her niece Leah Morrison and her husband Todd of Honey Grove and their children and grandchildren; her nephew, Blake Jones, and his children; Tanya Peevy; and numerous other family members.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis Ray Hevron; her middle son Ricky Donovan Hevron; mother, Thelma Jean Jones; father, Stanley F. Jones; Brother, Buddy Jones; Mary Lou Rhoades (MopMop), and other precious family members.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel, Honey Grove, Texas. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, Texas. Reverend Terry Paul Cunningham will be Officiating.

Pallbearers are Trevor Hevron, Devin Hevron, Bradyn Hevron, Kannyn Hevron, Abram Brown and Cruz Garcia.
