PUBLIC NOTICE

 

This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Monday, November 18, 2024, in the Community Room of the Sherman Police Department, 2600 W. Travis St., Sherman, Texas, for the following Ordinances. The Meeting at which these Ordinances are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

 

ORDINANCE NO. 6782

(Tabled At The October 21, 2024 City Council Meeting)

Amending Sherman's Zoning Ordinance/Code Of Ordinances Chapter 14, To Rezone A Tract Of Land Consisting Of 0.870 Acres Being Lot 1, Lot 2 And Lot 3, Alvarado Estates, In The Robert Thompson Survey, Abstract 1200, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, Located At 2901, 2909 And 2913 South First Street, Heretofore Zoned R-6 (Single Family Residential) District; Rezoning And Placing The Tract In The R-4 (Single Family Residential) District Zoning Classification, BELACOOP, LLC (Owner), Jay Peskuski (Representative) And Underwood Drafting And Surveying (Surveyor) Providing For A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date

Shelp Survey, Abstract No. 1097 And The J.B. Shannon Survey, Abstract No. 1085, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas 5922 Texoma Parkway, LLC (Owner), Saeid Taghvaei (Representative) And Barronstark Engineers (Surveyor/Engineer), Prescribing Conditions To The Specific Use Permit; Providing A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date

Patterson Survey, Abstract No. 969, The Daniel Shelp Survey, Abstract No. 1097 And The T.J. Shannon Survey, Abstract No. 1136, Lots 1 And 3, Block 1, Midway Mall, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas Scott Cresswell (Owner), Stephanie Brister, BDG (Representative) And Old Republic (Surveyor) Prescribing Conditions To The Specific Use Permit; Providing A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date

Abandoning Two (2) Water Main Easements Located In The City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, Being More Particularly Described In The Exhibit "A" And Exhibit "B" Attached Hereto And Made A Part Hereof For All Purposes, Which Easements Are Established In Volume 1147, Page 341 And Volume 1166, Page 644 Of The Deed Records Of Grayson County, Texas

 

I, Linda Ashby, City Clerk of the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing are true and correct copies of the caption of Ordinance Nos. 6782, 6787, 6788 and 6789 which will be submitted to the Sherman City Council at the Regular Meeting of November 18, 2024, for introduction, public hearing and adoption.
