Bonham, Texas -- The Children’s Chorus of Greater North Texas (CCGNT) and the Grads’ Chorus (alumni choir of CCGNT) are excited to sing for the Fannin County community on Friday, April 19, at Legacy Ridge Country Club in Bonham. The concert is free and all are invited.  It will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place on the West Patio area weather permitting.

Both choirs will perform a variety of choral music that they have been preparing this season. Familiar arrangements like “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” will be performed, as well as madrigals, jazz choral arrangements, classical pieces and more. The Children’s Chorus has singers 3rd-12th grade, and is a treble choir. The Grads’ Chorus is comprised of high school through young adult singers.

CCGNT and the Grads’ Chorus are extremely grateful to the Glaser Family Charitable Foundation for a grant received for the non-profit choirs. The grant greatly helps the singers and program throughout the year. The CCGNT and the Grads’ Chorus are directed by Heidi Scheibmeir. Claire Dering is the collaborative pianist, and Emily Ellis is the music assistant.
