Connie was born on September 5, 1949 in Ft. Worth, TX. Daughter of Rufus and Juanita Keen Clark. The family moved to Bonham in 1962. She attended Bonham
Schools and graduated in 1969.

Connie met and married Bill on March 24, 1970 at First Baptist Church in Durant, OK. They made their home in Bonham, TX and raised two beautiful children, Lynne and Timothy.

Connie received her nursing degree in 1972. She attended Fannin County Vocational School, Grayson County College, and Paris Jr. College. She worked at the Bonham Hospital for almost twenty-five years and the Bonham VA in the dementia unit for twenty-five years before retiring December 31, 2021.

Connie was an outstanding nurse, just ask anyone who worked with her or even her patients. Nursing was always her dream since she was a small child. The Vets were her life, especially the dementia unit.

Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her loving husband Billy T. of 45 years, her parents Rufus and Juanita Clark and her brother Johny Clark.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Lynne Meyer and husband Greg from Paris, TX; her son, Timothy Chambers and wife Amanda of Bonham, TX; granddaughter, Hailey Hicks and husband Justin of Paris, TX; grandson, Logan Warren and wife Miranda of Paris, TX; granddaughter, Madison Warren and fiancé Zach Smith of Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughters, Taylor, Madi, and Maci Meyer; grandsons, Trevor, Tyler, and Laramie Williams; great-grandchildren, Asher, Colton, and Emerie Hicks, Cayden, Chevy, and Maybree Warren and Kodie Clark; as well as her brother, Ronald Clark and sister, Bobby Sharrock.

Our hearts are broken, she will be missed, but never forgotten. She was a wife, a mother, grandmother, even a great-grandmother (AKA) Nana and a true friend.
