Ravenna, Texas -- Patricia Lynn Cockrill Curry, 55, of Ravenna peacefully passed from this life into eternal life with our Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 while surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born May 9, 1969 to parents James Weldon Cockrill and Gwendolyn Louise (Jones) Cockrill in Bonham, TX. She met the love of her life Michael Lee Curry in 1989, and together they built a life of love and joy. Patricia graduated from Dodd City High School in 1987.

Patricia was known to be outspoken at times, and her laughter was contagious. Patricia especially loved the summertime, with the bright sunshine, flowers in bloom, and all things summer, including going on cruises, and being at the beach, but her favorite things to do were reading her bible, and sharing the love of Jesus to all.

Patricia is survived her husband Michael Curry, son Sebastin Curry, and grandson Tristan Curry of Ravenna, Her parents, father James Cockrill of Dodd City, mother
Gwen Haverland of Durant, OK., sisters Becky Galvez of Durant, Kathy Thomas of Denison, brother Tony Cockrill of Allen, niece Nancy Cockrill, along with numerous
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Weldon and Jean Cockrill and grandmother Kathryn Jones.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 22 at the Sandy Cemetery, with Pastor Brian Lackey officiating.
