Dallas, Texas -- KZamore Enterprises, The Zamore Foundation and Williamson Media Group are proud to announce the staging of the critically-acclaimed gospel stage play Deadly Sins. Written by the esteemed Dr. Kerry Ann Zamore, and produced by Dr. Russell Williamson and Dr. Cheryl Polote Williamson, this powerful and poignant production will take place on August 17, 2024, at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, located at 1309 Canton Street, Dallas, TX 75201. There will be two performances: one at 2:00 p.m. and another at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster or at the TBAAL box office.

Dr. Kerry Ann Zamore, known for her dedication to highlighting thought-provoking conversations, cultural and social issues through the arts, brings this extraordinary production as part of the Zamore Foundation's mission to foster community engagement and awareness through theatrical expression. Under her visionary direction, this staging promises to be an unforgettable experience that will resonate deeply with audiences.

“We are excited to bring Deadly Sins to Dallas,” said Dr. Zamore, founder of KZamore Enterprises and The Zamore Foundation. “This production is more than just a play; it is a crucial exploration of relationships and human nature through drama, and I believe it will touch the hearts of all who see it.”

Starring Will Moleon and Kaylynn Wilkerson, the play follows a diverse cast of characters as they grapple with their own moral dilemmas and inner demons. As secrets unravel and tensions escalate, the characters are forced to confront the consequences of their actions and the dark truths that lie beneath the surface. With a mix of suspense, drama, dynamic music and poignant moments of introspection, Deadly Sins offers audiences a deep exploration of sin, redemption, and the search for meaning in a world full of temptation and betrayal. Deadly Sins made its theatrical debut in Killeen in February before a sold-out audience.

Deadly Sins stirred my soul and moved my spirit in such a way that I knew I needed to bring it to Dallas,” said Cheryl Polote Williamson, founder and CEO of Williamson Media Group. “I knew others would be impacted and empowered by the message and the magic that this production will bring! It’s so needed in such a time as this! Prepare to be lifted.”

A portion of the proceeds will benefit local programs supporting women's health and empowerment. The Zamore Foundation invites the entire Dallas community to join in this celebration of cultural heritage and the enduring strength of women.
