Fannin County, Texas -- Monday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. is the regular scheduled meeting of the Democratic Women at the 1st United Bank Elizabeth May Room.

Bill Roberts, Chair of the Fannin County Democratic Party will be hosting the meeting.

Join your fellow election heroes for FREE PIZZA and refreshments.  A chance to meet our candidates for State and Federal Offices and score election swag like signs and stickers.  A chance to meet your co-heroes and reserve your election-day precinct assignments.  Meet Party members who serve in other ways.

GEORGE KING, Democratic candidate for Texas State Board of Education, District 12. 

Extra Special Guest:  ELVIS!!!  You may remember him from 2016 when he was the Chaircanine of Hounds for Hillary!  Or 2020 when he led Beagles for Biden!  He'll be using this event to launch Howlers for Harris!  Furry recruits welcome! (I'm talking to you, Cat Ladies and Dog Dads.)

Most of all, it will be a chance to buck each other up before what is shaping up to be an interesting fall.  If the Democratic Party has had any success in Fannin County lately, it's been in waving the flag and letting other Democrats know that they aren't alone and needn't be afraid.  For the first time in a while, we're adding members who want to serve.  Many of them are new to the county, as well.  Welcome!

I'm indebted to each of you.  I'm donating my entire County Chair salary to the Fannin County Democratic Party this year, so we've got money for pizza (barely).  Women's (and Men's) Club members are bringing drinks and Democratically Decadent Desserts.
