Dodd City, Texas -- Jerry Lynn Roten, 67, of Dodd City, TX, was born January 9, 1957, in Paris, TX, to Tiny and Marie (Gaither) Roten.  Mr. Roten passed away on August 30, 2024, in Denison, TX.

Services for Mr. Jerry Lynn Roten will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hickory Grove Cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Terry Paul Cunningham will preside.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Boyett, Noah Roten, Travis Buckner, John Fields Roten, Chad Roten, Kaleb King, and junior pallbearer Lawson Boyett.

Visitation will be held Wednesday September 4, 2024, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, TX, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Jerry is survived by wife Chukli Tang, children; Chad Roten, John Fields Roten and wife Alyssa, Marilyn Boyett and husband Danny Boyett, and Amelia Roten, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Roten is preceded in death by his parents Tiny and Marie Roten as well as his brother Mike Roten.
